The College eLearning innovation and development team, along with members of the teaching staff, will be showcasing many of our activities during this months DELTA week. Some of the sessions we will be hosting and supporting are detailed below:
iLearn: A Lecturers Perspective - By the end of this session attendees will have gained an insight into how the many functions of iLearn can be used with a group of learners. Staff will also understand how the use of iLearn has reduced staff duplication of work and encouraged a more holistic approach to the sharing of learning & teaching materials across teams and beyond.
iLearn: Setting up and using your course - This workshop will give you an overview of the tools that are available to you in iLearn, as well as showing you how to request a course/courses through the elearning helpdesk. The workshop also covers how users can incorporate video, multimedia and other learning resources into their iLearn courses.
WordPress/ePDP Workshop - This workshop will demonstrate how to set up and use WordPress for ePDP.
Using Audio and Video in eLearning - This session will demonstrate the following:

- eLearning Equipment Information: video cameras/audio recorders/editing support – what we have and how to request it.
- eLearning Equipment Demo: video- choosing the right camera, camera setup, framing,
movement and audio considerations. - Basic Video Editing: which programme? cutting and exporting, video conversion.
- eLearning Equipment Demo: audio- choosing the right microphone, mic setup, ambient noise considerations.
- Audio Editing: which programme? Getting software installed, cutting and exporting.
- Uploading Material: eLearning Quality Control. Combining A/V with quiz's and interactive LO's.
