New helpdesk facility for eLearning

Over the past few months, both the eLearning Services and ICT Services teams have been working towards developing a helpdesk facility for all staff to submit support requests in line with the e-Enabling Strategy of the College.

ASC staff now have access to a dedicated team of eLearning support personnel who can help with all aspects of your eLearning requirements.

Whether it is developing interactive teaching materials, assessing students online, requesting CPD or carrying out pilot work in the use of new technologies in learning and teaching, this new helpdesk will act as your first point of contact for all your eLearning needs.

To submit a request, go to the Learning and Teaching Gateway and click on 'eLearning Services' under the 'Help and Support' tab, as shown on the image above.

This will open the following page:






Follow the link to 'eLearning Services Helpdesk'





This will take you to the page you see below.





Now go to 'Add new item' under 'My Active requests' and this will open the request form.


Complete the form and click on the 'Save' icon on the top left, as shown here below:





Once you've filled in the form and clicked on 'Save' the process will be completed. The eLearning Services team will receive your request.
